Description

Robin Hood Cake Stand 10 5/8” diameter height 6 5/8” Fostoria Glass Company 1898. The Cake Stand is clear and any colors you see in the photographs are reflections from the indoors where I photographed the piece. Clarity and color of the class is excellent. The cake stand has the bubbles, straw marks, and waviness common to Early American Pressed Glass. There is very minor mold roughness around base. Surface of cake stand shows one or two scratches from use.
It looks like the top was attached with a glass wafer to base.
