Long shirt, hand embroidered girl's ethnic shirt from Suva Gora

Description

This is a long shirt (dress), piece of an ethnic costume from the villages close to region known as Suva gora in the western part of Macedonia. It is a unique and very rare shirt. It was a part of a girl's ethnic costume ( used by young, still not married, women).
The shirt was made in the late XIX century and the beginning of the XX century. The shirt is kept in a very good condition, without damages of any kind, no stains, holes or rips.
It is a handmade shirt, made of pure and organic sheep wool, woven on a horizontal loom. It is hand embroidered on the sleeves, the neckline and the bottom of the shirt in a typical pattern for this region.
