The glass is clear and any colors you see in the photographs are reflections from indoors where I photographed the piece. Color and clarity are very nice and it is a crisp impression from the mold. The water goblet has the mold marks and straw marks and bubbles common in this era of glassware. This goblet is pictured in Metz first book Early American Pressed Glass on page 116-117. There is mold roughness between the plain portion and the patterned star portion and one small chip in that roughness. This is a lovely pattern especially when filled with red wine.
