Description

This DMX product listing includes a case!
For the picture our board is shown on top of a Raspberry pi, as it would be used. The Raspberry pi is not included in this listing!

In contrast with the  DMX interface "with FT245", this board does not have the  FT245RL chip on board.
This normally allows you to use this with the OLA software on the raspberry pi to work with DMX hardware. However the OLA software has not (yet) implemented the RX (receiving) part of the DMX protocol for this hardware. The board "with FT245" proves that this board together with the 'pi are physically capable of  recieving DMX messages, it is just that the software is not yet written.

If you want it for the Raspberry Pi model A or model Zero, we'll lower the board, closer to the rpi if requested.
This is incompatible with the higher connectors on the "model B". The default version will fit all variations of pi's!
