    Description

Beautiful Antique EAPG Adams & Co Glass c1880 Prayer Rug Horseshoe Cake Stand. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
A favorite EAPG pattern is this Prayer Rug or Good Luck made by Adams Glass c. 1881. Around the rim is a curly cue and dot pattern. The exterior bottom of the rim has a complimentary dotted drape. The pedestal is simplistic giving all the attention to the plate.
This Victorian piece would have been a lovely wedding gift and one that would still be appreciated today. The stands is 7 inches tall.
There are some fine marks from cutting cake no damage to report. This is a very nice piece from over a century ago.  No chips!  No discoloration.
    Characteristics of
Early American Pattern Glass using the EAPG glass making process are straw marks, and air bubbles sometimes inside the glass, these characteristics are from the production and to be expected.  This piece is very clean but there are a few imperfections.
