ALIENS Movie Rare Production Photograph Booklet - Only 20 Produced - 1986

Description

A very rare promotional booklet for the 1986 James Cameron film Aliens.
Produced by hand as a preview of the production and bound by a spiral attachment, the pages of  photographs consist of glossy black and white and color lab-processed photographs adhered back to back on heavyweight processing stock, from the source negatives by the production company.
Coverage includes a summary, a facsimile of one of the script pages, the Twentieth Century Fox logo and film title art that was used for the final advertising campaign for it's release in 1986. Images consist of the cast and director on sets of the Sulaco dropship bay, with the APC and weaponry, and at the Hadley's Hope colony facilities on Planet LB426. There are no dates, captions, copyright inclusions, or text to note the date of the booklet, or detail the photographs assembled.
Of only 20 reported produced, its an early example of film promotion using actual processed photographs from a lab and assembled into a hand-produced book for limited distribution.
Aging consists of wear to the clear plastic covers, edge wear and some separation of the back-to-back adhesion. This item consists 20 pages ad measures 11" x 15".
